Dear Fans: Okay, so I am really upset. I picked the dates for next
year's picnic this past March, and booked everything. Now I find out
that one of the nearby anime cons has chosen the same weekend, with full
knowledge that it is when CDO was scheduled. I am stuck in a bad spot,
with few choices.
Since you are the fans, and you make the picnic, I want your opinion on
this. As I see it, there are two things I can do:
1. Move up the date, so the picnic is in February, and risk the cold.
2. Stay where I am, and give everyone the option to come to my free
picnic event instead of paying for that day of the con. After the picnic
events come to a halt people could go over there for the evening if they
still wish.
Are there any other ideas out there? What would you guys suggest that I
do? I really hope to have a great turnout, so we can all have fun
together, and make it memorable. So I want to do what is best for
everyone.
